The Mike Adams Series is a trilogy of novels written by Kenneth Kerns, featuring the eponymous fictional character Mike Adams as the protagonist. Kerns began writing the trilogy in June 2003, as an homage to the zany world of campus politics, a world he knew quite intimately from his time at the University of Florida, circa 1999-2002.

The series consists of three novels:

During the initial drafting of the third novel, a prequel story was outlined that would function as a fourth part of the series. However, this Legacy story was rewritten, pared down, and incorporated as a subplot into the third novel.

Additionally, a namesake character for Mike Adams was created in the online game American Government Simulation, circa 2004-2008. This version of Mike Adams became the only character to be elected President twice, and later served as a U.S. Senator. Much of this character's backstory is borrowed from The Proxy Senator. A compilation of fictional speeches, campaign platforms and mini-books was packaged in 2008 as a book entitled From Maverick to Statesman.
